£1,000 grant to increase participation and inclusivity through the provision of a more diverse range of workshops all of which will focus on and contribute to the Festival of Fire performance.
Grant delivery
Each year for 9 years the Welshampton Bonfire Committee has organised and facilitated four weeks of activities and workshops culminating in a free, community based Festival of Fire. In 2010 the committee wishes to increase participation and inclusivity through the provision of a more diverse range of workshops all of which will focus on and contribute to the Festival of Fire performance. Workshops will include adult and community choirs, circus skills, japanese taiko drumming, puppet making and dance.
Community workshops started every Tuesday from 28th of September 2010 7pm at Welshampton Parish Hall.
