The Ellesmere Joint Committee has £15,040 of grant funding available in 2012/13.
Who can apply to the LJC for funding?
Community groups, voluntary organisations and parish councils can apply for funding. The grants can also be used to extend a Shropshire Council service within the LJC. Read the following attachment for an explanation of the principles behind LJC funding:
What can be funded by the LJC?
The grants can be spent on local projects within the LJC, that bring benefits to people living within the area. If you think you have a project that would be suitable to apply for funding please contact the community action officer, and discuss your application with them.
How do I apply?
Please contact the local community action officer to talk about your application and check that you are eligible to apply. Then, either complete an online application, or download an application form and guidance notes via the links below:

When will I know if my application has been successful?
The applications are considered by the Local Joint Committee at their meetings. The community action officer will tell you which meeting your application will be assessed at. You maybe asked to attend the meeting and talk about your project to the committee.
If your project is successful you will receive an offer letter shortly after the meeting. The letter will list the amount of funding you have been allocated and whether there are any specific criteria that you need to meet.
