  To provide a street party celebration and commemorative gift to all the children and their siblings at Hinstock School and Hedgehogs nursery.  There will be food, entertainment, school performances, and games held on the school playground.

  Celebrations start on 31st May with a school fete and picnic which is open to the school and villagers.  On Sunday 3rd June there will be a village get together with picnics and activities whilst showing the queen's barge procession down the Thames in a cinema style setting.

  The Committee are hosting a street party for the friends and families of the residents of Wood Lane, Woolerton and Wood Lane, Marchamley Wood.  The party will take place on Tuesday 5th June 2012 on or near Wood Lane Marchamley Wood.

  The events planned for 2nd-4th June 2012 will be held at the Parish Hall and the Parish Playing Fields.  The whole community is being catered for from the older members to the youngsters.  On 2nd June 2012 there will be an afternoon tea where there will be music and coronation video from the original coronation held in the parish hall.  On 3rd June there will be a mock coronation and crowing the jubilee queen who is being chosen by the local school and there will be six attendants, mixed boys and girls, followed by a short parade through the High Street to St. Swithuns Church for a church service.  On 4th June there is a picnic in the park aimed at local families where there will be live music.  The beacon will be lit in the evening plus a firework display to end the evening.

  The event will be held on 4th June, starting at around 12 noon.  There will be a blessing of the Diamond Jubilee bench by Rev Andy, followed by singing by the school choir.

  Community celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.  The aim is to bring togther all aspects of the local community in a day of fun activities and an evening of family entertainment.

  Woore Parish Council on behalf of The Big Lunch are putting on a community event to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on Saturday 2nd June 2012.  There will be a bring and share lunch, a quiz, raffel and children's activities.

To mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee it is proposed to buy items which will keep forever to remember this important occasion and also to hold a street party.  The street party will be open to all.

  The object of the project is to enable the parishioners of Wistanstow to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.  The main activities proposed are:  Procession through the village, games and activities at the village hall and a disco on the evening.

  Planting of 4 specimen trees to mark the Queen's Jubilee.  On Tuesday 5th June there will be acivities, games, dancing, BBQ and lighting of a beacon at 10pm.
